My Story

Meet the Coach

My athletic career began as a youth where I played mostly baseball and flag football. However, I was always an active kid playing volleyball, swimming and any other sport that kept me outside. In high school, I competed in football and baseball where I was a 3 year starter in both sports along with a 2-time All County and All-Regional baseball player. I was also a part of the track team and powerlifting team. After high school, I played two years of college baseball at Gadsden State Community College but due to continual arm injuries my career was cut short. After baseball I competed in Cheerleading for a year before hanging up my sports shoes and simply focusing on my education. I would go on to graduate from Auburn University with a degree in Exercise Science and a minor in Cell & Molecular Biology and both of these degrees have help feed my desire to understand the human body and its ability to adapt to stress and advance in still and ability.

Why I Coach

My passion is to help anyone who has a desire to better their life do so, whether that be in life or sport performance. I love working with athletes of all ages and ability levels and helping them realize strength and ability they didn’t know they had. I wake up every morning in the hope that I can be a positive influence on a young man or woman so that when they go off to college or move on in their life, they are stronger, not just physically but mentally and spiritually, and can handle whatever life is going to throw at them. As a coach I want to grow and learn as much as I can so that I can be the best for my athletes so that they can grow and become the best athletes they can be in the hopes or accomplishing goals and dreams they set from the very first day they walk through our doors. I want to create an environment of excellence so that when you walk through our doors, good is left outside and better becomes the main objective. It’s why we say, “If better is possible, good is not enough.”
