In our high performance program, athletes will develop the skills that are needed to excel in their sport based on where they are, where they want to go, and individual biological markers that need to be considered when it comes to athlete development (biological/chronological age, experience, sport, sport position, injury history, etc).
We believe in a macro approach when it comes to athlete development because it looks at the bigger, long-term picture. We believe that if you only focus on one aspect of the perennial cycle, mainly off-season, you miss out on a continuation of development as well as mitigating lost training values that can come from not developing during the season and allowing the sport to detract pivotal residual training values that are crucial to the sport, no matter what that sport is.
All of our athlete’s will begin with our in-house assessment which you can learn about here. Once finished, we will create an action plan for development that will take athletes through 3-6 week cycles (cycle lengths depend on age and training discipline) focusing on the different components of physical development each individual athlete needs. We do Performance Evaluations every 4 weeks to measure progress and effectiveness of the program as well as determine when the athlete is ready for the next phase of their development.
